Specializing in small business and entrepreneurship for 25+ years, Lorinda serves the Central Valley and Mother Lode Region as the Small Business Deputy Sector Navigator for the California Community Colleges Economic and Workforce Development Program. She is hosted by San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, California.

Her previous experience as a business start-up consultant and trainer, and business success coach have allowed her to partner with the Small Business Development Center, the Counties of Tuolumne and Mariposa and the City of Sonora, CA to provide business coaching and training services.

Lorinda has owned or co-owned five start-ups in Southern California and worked with a variety of others ranging from one person operations to venture-funded Silicon Valley start-ups. Her experience spans many industries including tourism, health care, investment banking, retail, service-oriented businesses, and restaurants. Lorinda is a business plan and financial projections expert, has helped many clients through the funding process and has taught on such topics as, “Owning Your Own Business”,  “Business Start-up Boot Camp”, “Social Medial Marketing” and “Marketing Your Small Business”. She is a certified training facilitator for Kaufman Fast Trac Growth Venture and Tech Venture as well as the Kaufman Ice House (entrepreneurial mindset) programs.

Lorinda is passionate about small business and its value within the local community. She enjoys forming collaborative partnerships that provide successful working relationships. Lorinda earned a B.S. in Business Management from Western Governors University.
